End the nonesense! The drug companies sat on their patents paying dividends and doing no research so when the patents ran out, OOOOOOOPS! Nothing to sell! Patents were supposed to promote research but instead they encourage rent seeking. Lawyers and judges created the mess we have now and we can cure it by taking all their power away.

Do the Chinese not know that putting a heavier weight on a pressure cooker increases the pressure? That the increased pressure increases the likelyhood of an explosion?

The RIAA and other industry groups buy support in both houses with massive political donations. They don't give it freely! They expect legislation that favors them. They bought it and they want their congressional lackies to provide what they paid for. If they don't get it they support another candidate who will give it to them. There is so much corruption in the US system now that it's no wonder the country is falling apart. The government no longer acts in the best interests of the people, but in the best interests of their largest corporate sponsors. One person one vote no longer means anything when legislation can be bought with campaign donations.

The outside world doesn't know it but we Canadians are actually legally required to be nice. Eh! Ya didn' think we were nice because we liked you?

Sea lice from farmed salmon are killing wild stocks off. Just imagine what frankenfish could do to the environment. Giant sea lice that attack swimmers. Overgrown sand sharks now man eaters. Pacific octopus, the worlds largest, could grow into something from Jules Verne imagination. Of course, none of these things are likely to occur. It is the things we can't think of that worry me.

Make sure the locals know that every child crippled or killed by polio is the direct fault of the taliban. They can keep out health workers but not information. The taliban is waging Satan's war against the children of Pakistan. The parents should be actively fighting back. If you know where a taliban lives, kill him in his sleep, poison his food, whatever it takes. His wife will thank you. Shoot them in back. Blow them up with their own bombs. Use your imagination. Every taliban you kill gets you that much closer to Heaven!

When an authority suppresses a minority, the minority builds resentment. If there is no outlet, the resentment grows into rebellion. If the authority suppresses the dissent it doesn't go away. It festers. Eventually all of the minorities in China will all be unhappy and ready for a full revolt. If authority tightens it's grip, the country will explode. Angry upset minorities rebelling simultaneously across all of China would be more than the authority can suppress. It will become like Syria. If China does not change course, Syria is it's future.

Children in Britain play exactly the same video games that American children play and they don't run around shooting each other all the time. America has a culture of gun violence and until that changes these terrible events will keep happening.
