Haha, no it won't but I mend that their total and epic failure to control the region, in line with so many others, was impossible to ignore. And still the US (and other NATO countries that get dragged along) just keep desperately starting wars. BTW I've BEEN to Cuba and it's a very, very poor and in many ways crippled, though beautiful country.

Interesting, I guess we agree then, it's the US that keeps pushing other countries (via NATO and otherwise) to send military on 'peace' missions. The last Dutch government fell over supporting the Afghanistan mission for even x more years. Because the Dutch and many others don't believe in forcing peace in such a way. The Russions tried it for years and warned us all at forehand. Before calling Europe a freerider, consider if it wanted to ride along in the first place! The US always just wants to 'protect' everybody so they can be in charge. They dragged Europe in the biggest financial crisis since the 1930's. They start wars every decade with bogus excuses, just so a few people can make a lot of money. Korea, Vietnam, Irak twice, etc. So yes, we agree: Withdraw the US army. Not just now but permanently.

She'll find enough distractions without her cell phone, like you pointed out already, and therefore will still run you over. I was run over by an old man. Perfect weather, within city limits. Didn't even break. Only got stopped by a big city bus he hit next. Claimed he didn't see me, standing still on the middle of the road on a bright yellow motorcycle, lights on So don't think this phone jammer will make much of a difference.

In my defense: My native language is Dutch and I never really speak English, just read it on the 'net. I dare any native American without a specific education in languages to write the same text in Dutch without errors. Botnet

Submission + - Bredolab botnet taken down (www.om.nl)

Leon Buijs writes: Monday a 27 year old Armenian was arrested at request of the Dutch authorities. The Dutch police thinks he is the brain behind the infamous, 30 million infected computers large Bredolab network, that was taken down by their Team High Crime. Bredolab was used to spread virii and spam via the Netherlands. While taking the botnet down at a Dutch ISP, the suspect did several attempts to regain control. When this didn't work out, he did a DDoS attack on the ISP's servers using a 220.000 computers botnet. However, this was also broken off by taking 3 servers offline that the Armanian used for this, in Paris. (Original story is in Dutch)

This has happend before with bank data from Germans at a foreign bank that were stolen by an employe and then sold to the German authorities. There was a lot of discussion but in the end the German gouvermant DID use the data. Again, the same thing is about to happen in the Netherlands, with data from banks in other parts of Europe. The Dutch tax department offers offenders a 'inkeerregeling': If you turn in the illegal foreign savings, you get a much lower fine than if you take your chances and wait for them to find them. If they ever will because it's not sure if this evidence will hold in Dutch court. This inkeerregeling has turned out to be very successful so far

Now you can only hide it in the dock, then you could also roll it up to the bar anywhere on the screen. In OS9, if you'd click on another folder, the active folder would retract back to the bottom of the screen automatically (if I remember correctly). The label of the 'hidden' folder was a lot easier to hit then the icon in the dock, but then again, this has also to do with the fact that my screen resolution is quadrupled since.
