I would recommend vBulletin also. The skins are a bit difficult to work around but that is rather common. I run two different forums with about 10k users a peice. No troubles at all and vBulletin does have some pretty good technical support.

The cost of upgrading from XP can be prohibitive. I work part time for a small market radio station. Just to replace the OS it is $150 a pop.
There is the new version of the automation software that will not work with XP, that is an additional 15K. The new software won't work with the old servers so add 4-5K on that.
Then there are the little things. Adobe Audition1 is a great product! Doesn't work so well on 7. That's another $350 a pop
Some business just can't afford it yet.

If Oracle does close out MySQL it would be a very bad move to public image. It was a mistake to sell MySQL to them in the first place.
As it is right now, I cringe when I see the name Oracle because I know it is a product I don't want to deal with.

That is an awful lot of work to do just to move a few small files around (which is what usb drives are especially good for). If you make it too difficult to do, people wont do it.

Recently the City of Mountain View, concerned that the space is not zoned for teaching classes, has shut down more than half the space, stopped all large classes and conferences, and has given Hacker Dojo 6 months to do a quarter million dollars of improvements or face being shut down.

In addition to the offline subdivision scheme, it also includes a GPU implementation. This video demonstrates a realtime deforming subdivision surface running at 50 FPS in Maya (though it is freely available to use anywhere). The source code is available on Pixar's GitHub account.

In October 2010, 6 months before Apple said “enough is enough” and initiated its lawsuit against Samsung, Apple offered Samsung a licensing deal for its patented technologies. As part of its offer, Apple said it was willing to offer Samsung a royalty rate of $30 per Android smartphone and $40 per Android tablet. Apple also indicated that it would wipe 20% off of its royalty asking price if Samsung was willing to cross license its own patents with Apple.
