What concerns them most is that they retain ownership of sacred burial sites and objects of historical and cultural significance. Under NAGPRA, it is a criminal offense to find such items and not report them to the government for repatriation.

In US History in grammar school, we learned about the Trail of Tears in explicitly negative terms. Do young Turks learn about Armenian genocide the same way? Everyone has skeletons. The difference is whether we keep them in the closet or not.
