Coal at the moment is allowed far more pollutant and far more radioactive emission than nuclear is allowed.

There is absolutely no evidence that this is hapenning. in fact there is a lot of evidence that people simply stops at the top information they find and retain negative information far easier (bias). Look there is a reason stuff like susperstition exists, post hoc or ad hominem are used successfully : because people bias toward the negative. Spread the negative the bias will stay, but a LOT of people will get fucked. The only way it would work would be if *absolutely everybody* would be hit by this, for decades. Not going to happen.

Seeing what Microsoft has done in the last years and how the amrket is going , they will almost certainly go for the following :

* subscription based, forget the 15$ or whatever you paid for minecraft, they will ask 1$99 every month.
* separate set and special mods which allows more than color/form only microsoft, and only for money
* everybody else relegated to basic coloring, texture and form mod, no "command" block type mod adding new function.
* not possible anymore to have your independent server. After all you could do some stuff which would tarnish the image of MC2.0 "microsoft". And there is the money from the server subscription, like 20$ a month.
* API even more obsfucated than for MC 1.0, but with DMCA take down if you deobsfucate it and attempt to add your own command mod
* going away from Java

Yeah i am quite a cynic.

This is not about how your own application react to a file. this is how the operating system *does*. There is a convention in the operating system, particularly windows, that a .gif will be tried to be displayed as a picture and a .html as a web page. Your application may *chose* to interpret it as music for all we care, but the operating system will react by default as described.

This is why displaying and showing this is an executable is important. Although nowadays the windows operating system should warn you you are about to run an executable.

No. The commandement is "you shalt not murder" thus preserving the artistic logic and integrity of the old testament, those were not murder, they were kills (the line is very thin and very blurry between both from this side of the moral evolution we underwent, but it is a huge difference for a desert iron age tribe). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T...

The solution is not to eliminate schedules. It's to adapt them to changing conditions and be proactive about slippages."

The PO is supposed to be aware of this at least on the sprint level, and if necessary communicate with the client. Furthermore one of the tenet is that the team is responsible,m and responsibility is to warn that the spring goal may not be reached and draw consequence on it for next sprint goal (make them less big etc...). Which also means since you are delivering on the atomar level of a sprint, that it is known sprint after sprint how the evolution of the project is by the client. Now if you are speaking of telling on the 11th hour on a SPRINT level, well Yupi-doo. Compared to most project which tell goal will not be met at the 11th hour before delivery of the FULL project ?

This is utter bullshit. Most people which seek suicide do not "do it without telling it". In fact many have along phase where you can detect symptoms (unfortunately most often hindsight) and call for help. This is not "i want to suicide" this is for example "life is so hard sometimes I want to end it all" or similar turn of phrases. And those persons use the communication way they most often use in their flife. It was letters a long time ago, sms, and whatnot, then facebook, suicide hotlines and maybe now twitter and others. The point is that it is relatively rare that somebody is 100% happy and then poof they suicide without warning (that happens, but usually it is more in the line of a illness diagnose without hope of cure or pain relief). The problem is that those warning can be very easily overlooked. That OP has no fucking clue whatsoever and should not be let near a suicide hotline ("attention seeker a bunch i tell you") or any other suicide prevention programs.

In climate science on the other hand , the system are huge, but the number of factors or confounding factors is relatively small compared to a human. Think about it : you cannot simulate properly a human by slicing him in single voxel of meat and simulating the interaction between each other. You can do that with atmosphere to predict short term and evolution, and you can do that on a different level to predict long term evolution.
