I know, so if i had been saying something even more controversial I would have posted it as AC. For the purposes of my previous posting pseudonymity suffices. For others I want full AC protection [say when uploading whistleblower files].
It greases up communication. If I had to attach my name permanently to this comment, at best I would have to spend 15 minutes fully thinking out every implication of it, at worst I would likely not make it at all.
However using either AC or a pseudonym I can post my initial thoughts and let someone else support/refute some of the points using their own personal experience and knowledge.
One arrives to the truth much faster by collaborative debate than by solitary thinking or not posting at all.

Sounds like a bug in the Matrix to me. It will probably be fixed in the next release.
No, the Matrix learned from Microsoft: you don't have to fix anything if you have no competition.
They probably used "heavenly body" at first, but editors realized that would generate too many tasteless jokes, and changed it to "planet".
Does that mean Hamas will start rocketing China also?
Given that the executive branch, that being the POTUS, has never seen a surveillance law it didn't like, I seriously doubt this law would actually impede the government's lust for any and all information on the People.
Besides, the actual implmentation of any law is always the exact opposite of the bill name. My guess, "The USA Freedom Act" means "freedom for the government to do whatever the fuck they want."
At 42 he'll only do it 24 times. Slowin' down.
The point as I see it is the distinction between version 4 and 5. The poster suggests that they want "the latest" rather than 4, which they CAN find docs for. They are both obsolete, dead even, such that focusing on "the latest" strikes me as odd. Perhaps I came off too sarcastic, but the "logic" is bugging me.
Now, I realize Palm OS 4 software can be run on Palm OS 5, but I'm looking to use some of the 'newer' APIs.
Come on, if they do the job, who cares. It's like wanting Mozart over Bach because Mozart is "newer". They are both dead worm food. (Please, no music "decomposing" jokes.)
Just like the NSA here.
