Even if it's a hoax the sensible response doesn't really change. Change your password, enable 2FA and don't worry too much about whether it was FUD.
So who exactly is "the OCAP team?" I admit not following crypto research very closely so the only name I recognize on their site is Bruce Schneier, and though there's a few comments mentioning them on his blog he hasn't as far as I can tell said anything about being involved.
The other day I also noticed their text ads sometimes now have contact forms in them with my email address pre-populated. In response I turned off the option in my ad blocker that allowed their text ads. Advertisers are idiots.
I don't either. They make buggy video games with obnoxious amounts of DLC. Somehow that's worse than BofA foreclosing on houses that aren't actually mortgaged?
just ask yourself: what would a "thinking war machine" actually "think" about?
HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.
And now some lowercase letters to keep Slashcode happy: haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate
Interesting that they're free. Just curious: is that distance round-trip or if you drive to Vegas will you be walking back to LA?
Ooh now there's a thought. We could finally settle that Enterprise vs. Star Destroyer argument. Vader could become the Borg queen. Find a way to shoehorn Picard in as well so he can have a pod racing scene. All the people in this thread saying Abrams couldn't do any worse than Lucas already has are gonna feel pretty silly.
Shifting half the expense to the device and half the expense to the cable isn't cheaper, it's just moving costs.
That's only true if there's a 1:1 relationship between tablets and cables.
As it so happens that's already implemented.
Ubuntu was demoing an Android port at CES this year, which sounds as though it runs in something like a chroot jail. The idea seems to be to hook your phone up to a monitor to display Linux apps, but it seems at least conceivable that they could display on the phone's screen if you could get around the usability issues.
Considering there hasn't been a release since 2006 or a commit since 2009 I'd say no, they don't really.
I'm afraid we're fresh out of sharks, but perhaps I could interest you in an ill-tempered sea bass?
Oh so that's what "final" means. They're switching to the Final Fantasy versioning scheme.
HELP!!!! I'm being held prisoner in /usr/games/lib!
