It seems that a lot of internet companies make their money from adds. If this buisness model was so bad it would have stopped decades ago.

So how do you propose web sites to be funded. People don't like a pay wall, ISP will not pay you for their customers visit. If your site doesn't meet the need for the greater common good then you probably won't have the government or some other large grant funding you. However you have costs to pay for. The add model is the best we can get unless you know of some superior buisness model.

The problem is that we gave Israel a barren land with indefensible borders. Then we complained when they took action to assert themselves. It's like boasting that you gave someone a dilapidated house, then criticize them for cutting down the vines choking it, and for making too much noise sawing and hammering.

1. humans are not destroying the system. Changing yes but not destroying. The ecosystem of earth seems very resistant to destruction and no Place on earth is completely lifeless.
2. No the interconnected system doesn't "care". If you are not religious you need to live in a reality that nothing outside of humans and a few other higher animals care about anything.

I agree. But to be honest Darwin's theory of evolution pretty much proves that biggest jerk wins. Society is seems to be humans way of saying that we are going to choose what fittest means. AKA it is the anti jerk force.

Our second problem is that we have voters who never learned in school that there were plenty of African Americans in the military, but they were segregated thanks to progressive President Wilson. They also like to pretend that the Nazi party was ever a legitimate party in the USA, when it's the ever-enlightended Europeans and progressive darlings like George Bernard Shaw who liked both the Nazi party and Stalin.

The real issue with Video Game sports is the fact for the time for the people to get the 10,000 hours of practice to be a real master at it will take at least a couple of years. At the point where people are ready for it to be a sport, the game is already kinda old, and the new kids who are coming in are training on new games.

It has taken care of us very well. We are thriving. That is kind of how nature works the fittest survive.

However with my current car I get about 450 miles per tank. at 66mph.

Now the issue is some times I need to drive for 8-10 hours. So I will need to fuel up mid way. The charge time for electric may still be an issue.

Of course funding should be cut for things that should not be part of their mandate.

In essence he might have killed her career, with her on a bad day. Besides just because he might have done that in the past (may have been on a flight with more seats available, the kids were being better behaved, etc...) doesn't mean it is strictly allowed. She was probably following the rules, but her tact may have been a little down for that day. Then by posting her name, is just giving her a bad name for a simple mistake in tact that anyone may have done.

The US has anti spying agreements with the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. The German government knows that and the US does not have one with Germany.

And yet we all want the benefits that come from spying. Even the first arms limitation treaties where based on the ability to spy to verify that they were being followed.

Some did and some did not. It is unfair to judge the individuals of a nation by the actions of other individuals. None of us know what we would do in the same situation. We all know what we would like to say we do but that is not the same thing.
Of the nations of Europe that had to live under the occupation Norway probably has the best record for resistance. Frankly the Germans didn't treat the Norwegians badly at all. They thought of them as fellow Nordics. They could have sat out the war with little grief but instead they tied down massive numbers of German troops. That being said sitting at your computer and making accusations is not helpful in the least.
