Does anybody read my journal? Or is it just a feature of slashdot that only popular posters get any use out of?

I am eating popcorn right now. You know, those tins with three flavors. I would have prefered one with cinnamon and caramel, but its the regular caramel, cheese and butter. Usually everyone eats the caramel up and leaves the other two alone, but i've discovered the other two are quite good. You just have to stick to one at a time and not mix flavors.

Well it's been a long time since I visited here. I see I can meta-moderate again. All my previous journal entries ranting about the previous meta-moderation ban will be left for historical reasons. No need to be a knee-jerk revisionist. ;-)

Hmm, the number of moderations on the now infamous post are dropping. It was 7 or 8 hundred and now it's dropped under 200. I wonder why?

Ok, this is just WRONG!

Nobody bothered to tell me. I had to stumble across it in the user comments. Because I moderated up a controversial post I am no longer allowed to moderate or meta-moderate? Hello! That's (pardon the language) CRAP, plain and simple. This is the kind of thing that turns a loyal reader into a vengeful detractor.

See, the problem is, nobody even bothered to mention this to me or try to determine if I voted in good conscience. When I moderated, the post was at -1. I didn't feel it deserved lower than 0, or maybe even a 1. So I voted "Under-rated" because that was my honest opinion. Looks like Slashdot editors don't care about honest opinions. My honest opinion now is that some of them are fascists who are trying to stay on the power trip that should have ended when their stock/options went into the flusher.

What is up with Slashdot?

For the last couple weeks, I have only gotten two daily summaries e-mail to me from Slashdot. I should be getting them every day. I also have not been able to meta-moderate for several days.

Cool. I have a journal. I wonder what good it is. Is this post off-topic? This is just a test. Where is the help on this thing?
