If you can get WOW where you are, they have a superior cable modem offering. They don't cap you. And when I had problems they showed up on a Sunday AM to fix them. (Squirrel chewed the wire.)

I bought every single SimCity title so far, and lots of other Sim-games.

I'm not buying this.

It's enough of a compromise to buy online content from someplace like Steam or GOG without also having a game that CANNOT be played offline. That's BS. If it needs a server, make a microserver for personal use.

And WORSE they can't even make it WORK? Utter crap, guys. If my professional product operated like that when it was deployed, I'd be out of a job.

...that PCs no longer become obsolete at the rate they once did.

I had an iMac die the other day, one I bought in 2004. I was still using it, and it was still useful for the things it was purchased for.

It used to be that manufacturers depended on a 2 year obsolescence cycle.
