No, it's pretty much the cost. Rail is a way better way to travel than air for travel between cities, but it's way overpriced.

It's wrong anyways. In our frame of reference the event just occurred.
I've never heard of anyone from China with that superstition. Do you mean Korean medical practitioners?
You're comparing it to cities a fraction of its size. San Diego is the 7th largest city in the country. You need to go down the list to the 19th largest city, El Paso, to find one with a lower murder rate.
Most people who live here consider the airport approach a feature.
You realize that you're comparing a city to a while country, right? Cities tend to have higher crimes rates than countries as a whole.
There were only 32 people murdered in San Diego in 2014. As cities go it's a pretty safe one.
It's also very unusual for a suspect to be holed up in a foreign embassy for 5 years. That doesn't explain why it needed to take them this long to accept the obvious fact that this is an unusual case and just do what they need to do.
You're assuming there will be the same number of insured cars on the road. Self driving cars can be utilized much more efficiently so families may need less cars on the road. Also, car sharing models like Car2Go may also become more common resulting in even less ownership and far few auto loans.
If a segment of DNS is critical to our survival than I'm sure it can survive quite long without any mutation. But some arbitrary strand of DNA with no relevance to its host organism's survival can and will mutate freely.
That makes no sense at all. Eating is rarely stressful, tedious, or dangerous to other people, and commuting is rarely pleasurable. Where's the connection you're unsuccessfully attempting to make?
I don't know if that's a joke or not, but why would Doctors without Borders be building houses?
New physics doesn't generally contradict old physics. It may provide more precise predictions or cover edge cases that the old theory didn't handle well, but we will never discover new physics that tells us apples fall up from the tree instead of down. That is the reason for skepticism around something like the EM Drive.
Am I interpreting "as a result Thunderbolt will also support USB 3.1" wrong then? That sounds like it is more than just the connector.
HBO and Showtime have always been premium channels that cost $10-15 a month extra. If basic cable channels like AMC or Comedy Central wanted $10 a month, now that would be crazy.
