Every time I see Michio Kaku he's talking about some most likely impossible science-fiction fantasy technology. It may inspire wonder, but not in actual science.
The whole reason why the gender needs to be specified is that lumps that are supposed to be there apparently can't be distinguished from lumps of explosives.
How would you propose the scanner automatically determine the gender of the person being scanned?
How much more proof do they need? They found an iPhone with a chess computer running under his account hidden in the bathroom he ran to after every move. Even in a court of law, which this isn't, that's a pretty solid case.
Don't crash into anything while moving from point A to point B is a fairly unambiguous goal which computers should be able to handle, even if the details in reality are fairly complicated. Only kill bad people is not the same thing at all.
We have some limited recycling in San Diego, but it doesn't create potable water. Most of our waste water is treated and discharged into the ocean.
There has been discussion about building water recycling plants but there is a lot of FUD created about it by the reactionary opposition. I think their successful labeling of it as "toilet to tap" has been especially damaging to attempts to move forward with the idea.
We need water recycling plants. Why are we wasting money on desalination when we can recycle our water for a fraction of the cost?
And that method is starting to fall apart as high efficiency and alternative fuel vehicles become more common.
I feel so sorry for all those wealthy people bearing such a terrible economic burden. If the burden gets too bad though, there is a solution. They can always just forfeit their income and live the carefree, unburdened life of the poor.
American cheddar is different from american cheese which is different from the individually sliced, completely non-cheese junk you're talking about.
Obviously this is off by default, no one is trying to make any security decisions for you.
It was probably abandoned.
But this shit is going to kill us faster than pesticides, genetically modified "food" and the crap used to carry vaccines.
So faster than never? That sounds like something I can live with to be honest.
Right. So you need to trust one company with your payment information instead of hundreds of companies. You say it as if that isn't a huge improvement.
Memory fault - where am I?
