I have seen in digg (which is also driving a pro-feminist agenda but I digress), articles about employees not being promoted to management because they were women. well I also have not been promoted in many places, and never complained it was because I had a penis. Do I need to explain it to you? Maybe because I have a CV that his long, and quite an unusual experience, I have never experienced bullying on the field, and never witnessed it too. I also have some female friends in the industry, and fact is they are more afraid than us to make the jump to newer jobs. They are more social oriented, we always take the plunge for the green grass more impulsively and with lesser considerations "about the friends that we are leaving behind" (sic). Some of them also fail to grasp the unfortunate true, that despite having a penis, often on the industry the only way to get raises and promotions is to change jobs. The fact is guys change it more and have less qualms and fear about doing it.

Is being misogynist or racist is pointing out unfair situations where calling out for "diversity" ends up driving an agenda against or pro one of the groups against the other, you can call me names any day. And last time I checked, nobody is paid in Wikipedia, and their sheer power is numbers of voluntary people. Let the drums of political correctness continue...

Their facebook page is driving a pro-feminist agenda, and welcoming women-only posts in wikipedia under the guise of promoting "gender diversity". Last time I checked, promoting a diversity of something is welcoming from all sides, and nobody ever was preventing some sexes to use wikipedia. It is really a nice strategy to flip the bird to the people who most helped you grow. I have contributed to wikipedia in the past, but I am done with them.

There was even no need for that. The higher end 15'' models were already using the technology by the time he bought his machine. It was expected to trickle down, as Apple usually launches the new technologies in the higher end models to boost sales.

I was planning in buying a new one in a huge black friday promotion, but hold out because the high end models already were using this technology, and it was a given it was a matter of time for it to trickle down. Next time, you should do better your research.

What about the concept of pricing iTunes movies and songs more fairly and to a point where people won't bother to pirate them. The prices of music and films are distorted, too expensive upon a perceived reality distortion film of the medias conglomerates and the market is maintained by customer intimidation and political pressure instead of the law of the offer and demand...things have to change. Thing is with prices by the cents of music and movies, iTunes and the likes could dominate the landscape of entertainment and be almost the sole exclusive providers. Going to the movies, and buying physical media for entertainment is an obsolete and dead concept, certainly not ecological and a big waste of natural resources and money.

They do not need to travel. Our government handles us as criminals when registering for our identity cards and sold our biometric data to the USA without telling anybody.

Why such a radical change? I was educated in industrial schools, choose not to join the work force and continue my studies (actually was also very immature), and again joined a special program for IT work...however it was never only geared through that, they were specialist educational mixed with regular education. Granted, we had more hours of schooling than our counterparts, but then we also had a more rounded preparation for life AND the workforce.

For them to do something about it and save face. Sweet.

Oh yes it happens. I have "nothing to hide" but wont travel to parts of the world that do not respect my rights to privacy. What I alone? I sincerely doubt it.

I can definitively corroborate all the effort it took to master the grammar of the second language helped me being more conscious of what I say in my native language.

hah.. yes, I am actualy old enough to have paid that way a few times myself when I was younger. I was always taught to ask for the carbons and rip them up in such cases too.

Also had them whip it out at Fry's once when the computers crashed (and the cashier was a complete idiot that had no idea how to fill out the form, add numbers together and compute tax) but thankfully the computers came back just before I simply walked away due to annoyance.
