The Offspring released a new album in 2012 and I didn't know until yesterday. There are implications to that I need to get sorted but now you know what I'm listening to all day while I work.

I have a file on my machine - render.conf
I just did the following:
cp render.conf render-snap.conf
mv render.conf render-main.conf
mv render-snap.conf render.conf
And then I just laughed at myself for a bit. It made sense when I did it and as soon as I had I realized how stupid it was.

It doesn't work out like that in practice. I spent a decent chunk of time in the Bering sea on the Carl Vinson during Pacex '89 and the primary constraints for flying were not ice on the deck.

Well the bureaucrats who are likely regulating this are probably overworked and understaffed. So it's unlikely they can effectively regulate it.
If they don't have enough people to help, maybe they should consider some H1B's to augment the staff?

No, I'm in agreement with you here. As much as I don't buy from ThinkGeek anymore (unless they have a really, really wantable T-shirt on sale*...because I'm cheap as hell), having something akin to an Amazon Locker is a boon and a win for them.
It's a heck of a smart business strategy and it's going to be interesting (to me at least) to see how successful it is.
*I have a "Fhloston Paradise" t-shirt, and alas, no one ever recognizes the reference. That causes me to be bummed in almost unreasonable amounts.

I have Minecraft Vanilla running on a Celeron 887 with the stock Intel graphics on Ubuntu Linux, no less. Sure, it's got a 8GB RAM, but that was because RAM was very cheap when I bought that Celeron. Works just fine...

That is, he had until today, when he discovered he was locked out of the Gimp-Win account, and the project's ownership "byline" had been changed to "sf-editor1"—a SourceForge staff account. Additionally, the site now provided Gimp in an executable installer that has in-installer advertising enabled. Ars tested the downloader and found that it offered during the installation to bundle Norton anti-virus and myPCBackup.com remote backup services with GIMP—before downloading the installer authored by Simoni (his name still appears on the installer's splash screen).

Car key, house key, mailbox key, office key and my parents house key and a token for shopping karts. There is a USB key on it too, but I never think of it when I need a USB key... That's about it, it's already too heavy with all that crap.
