Also, depending on the climate where you live, you might consider a few solar cells. Freezers don't have a high peak power usage and if it's warm it's generally sunny too. Even if it's overcast the cells will still generate power, albeit not much. This should allow your freezer to cool down at daytime enough to stay at a reasonable temperature at night.
