Are you for real or just being sarcastic ?

Having recently started using Visual Studio - new position mandated it. (Previously an Eclipse user). I was wondering if i might find out what precisely people like so much about it. Quite frankly I hate it. Perhaps the interface is a bit cleaner - but overall its more like the "Tesco Value IDE" , offering only a basic subset of the functions I've come to rely on in Eclipse.

It is - I own "The Day After" which is saccharine by comparison. Still a I like this film too!

I own this film on DVD and while it is a harrowing piece. If you are a into apocalyptic scenarios or were a teenager in the 80's this film is a must view IMHO!

I was thinking that in response to the Steve Jobs crowdfunding initiative to build a sculpture - perhaps we could celebrate this by crowdfunding a giant statue of Ballmer flinging a chair!

There are a variety of solutions to these problems.using alternative DNS is one but this does not work in the case that IP addresses are blocked. Proxies may also work but in the end these are reliant on no blocks existing on the proxies network .Even then how long before proxies are blocked ?TOR seems like a good idea but in reality its a bit slow and thus you couldn't just route all your traffic through it. What is the long term solution to this?

Does anyone have any long term predictions or ideas about how we might work around this in a way that performs well and is more future proof?

FYI. EZTV is also blocked with BT infinity. And my VM at Bytemark cannot access either

Lets hope he can act a bit better than Hartnell - a large portion of his lines were proceeded with what I can only describe as "sniff the fart" acting. Watch a couple of episodes and you will see what i mean.

to be honest the BBC needs to focus on getting better direction and script writers. These days all the great unmissable shows are coming from the US. A great actor can should not be let down by poor direction or a lame script. DR Who needs someone like J J Abrams in charge imho!

Alternatively go outside , mow the lawn ,then start a BBQ and slap on some sunscreen - i suspect that will be cheaper and more readily available. These smells hardly require complex analysis in order to recreate them . We can do that just fine. It would perhaps be more useful if this device could be put to use for example to capture the smells of fruits, or flowers that are rare or on the brink of extinction.This would perhaps be good to draw attention to some of the issues surrounding looking after out planet. And also that our childrens children could learn and enjoy the odours of our forefathers.

No - I dont think thats true - that would imply that losing Steve Job's made an improvement to Apple in some way . I think that since the new poster boy took the helm they have just got even worse.
