Is it legal to publicly co-ordinate a DDOS attack on a major US telecom?

What kind of mushrooms were on that pizza?
It's a trap!
Whoops, wrong link:

FYI - Mac OS X is UNIX. Certified and all. It's a fantastic server platform.

I'm guessing you've never used Spotlight extensively. It works great on large network shares.

So we're going to use an ethically uncertain scientific practice to make ourselves feel better about ethically uncertain agricultural practices?
What about the environmental impacts of factory farming? What about the impact on global food stocks and security when diverse suppliers are replaced by a few large conglomerates offering genetically-tweaked (for the supplier's benefit) organisms that may or may not have long-term health consequences?
Since when is animal suffering the only thing to consider in the factory farming debate, or even the most important part of the debate?
When will humanity stop trying to cover up short-sightedness with more short-sighted solutions? Will I ever stop asking questions? How many licks DOES it take to get to the tootsie-roll center of a tootsie pop?
Just another example of a huge corporate entity using their power and influence to try and do end-runs around governments, thereby subverting the will of the people in democratically elected nations.
That is much of what international trade law is designed to do: remove barriers that prevent industry from having to respect the will of the populace they are either a) exploiting via cheap labor and substandard environmental practice, or b) selling overpriced nonessential garbage made at the expense of people thousands of miles away to.
New world order, same as the old world order. Power is king, and they know what's best for you. Now shut up and be happy.
Whoever they hired to do the voice over for this obviously was having trouble keeping a straight face. The tone is incredibly facetious. Like "I'm saying it, but I really really really think this is utter bullshit."
The folks pushing for these cap-and-trade carbon scams are business leaders and gov't cronies who stand to make a ton of cash and consolidate their power in public policy and the marketplace through regulating a previously unlimited resource.

Jesus that ad was from like 2002 or something. And you didn't do anything to disprove the parent's comment - that technical and sophisticated users are choosing the Mac in droves. Interesting, these same folks are generally less susceptible to marketing drivel and tend to base their purchases on objective assessment.
So yeah, Apple advertising is directed at n00bs. But their technology is squarely aimed at the more educated users out there.
QUOTH YOU: - Money spent since 2002 on OS X 10.x - about $400. (Else my G4 Mac would stop functioning properly.)
Liar. You could go back and install the old Mac OS X on that computer any time you wanted, and it would have all the features and functionality it did when you purchased it. There's NOTHING about an OS update (or lack thereof) that is necessary to keep a computer functioning properly. As if the OS has an expiration date.
Hyperbole and bullshit.
YMMV, but I had no trouble using Software Update to get to 10.5.8 on a G31M-ES2L based Hackintosh.
