Submission + - Jericho Fans Send Tons of Nuts to CBS

viper66 writes: CBS recently canceled the popular series 'Jericho' after ending the season with a cliffhanger. After many emails and forum comments asking the network to continue the series they got a response which promised closure to the Jericho story. Fans were not happy with this response and began sending peanuts by the pound to CBS headquarters in New York.

Calvin writes: Jericho fans are going NUTS trying to keep their show going another season or more.

6 tons of nuts have already been delivered to CBS in support of not canceling the Jericho TV series about an town surviving in the aftermath of a nuclear attack. CBS has decided to cancel the show due to ratings, however CBS apparently also made a few blunders regarding scheduling and advertising of the show.

The fans are gathering together singing petitions, making calls, sending mail and email, taking out advertisments, posting prolifically on forums and blogs, and delivering tons of NUTS to CBS based on a line in the season finale to bring the show back for Season 2.

An anonymous reader writes: At 2 p.m. on May 16, 2007, CBS announced its 2007-2008 primetime slate. Jericho was not on it. The network has decided that it wasn't worth the fight to relaunch it for a second season. Fans of the show are uniting to get CBS to renew the show for a second season by sending nuts to CBS in a reference to the season one cliffhanger episode, if you enjoy this show join in and send nuts to CBS!
