The reason is that in an ADHD brain, the 'control'-part isn't working hard enough, making you very impulsive. And if you act on every impulse, you're hyperactive. So, you have to stimulate the 'control'-part of the brain, keeping the impulses in check.

Well, when I was young and my 'control-part' wasn't working my parents prescribed some sort of pain (spanking, belt, etc). That way when I got that impulse again I would remember said pain and kick-start the 'control-part'. That taught me something, cause and effect, consequences for an action, etc.

Replacing discipline with drugs is a mistake, the drugs won't teach him control all they do is push the real problem aside until they get out of school.

I've only had one lucid dream, the problem is that the excitement of realizing I was dreaming woke me up.
One thing that happens to me often is sleep paralysis. You feel an evil presence around walking at you and you can't move. The first time it happened was horrifying, but now that I know what it is things go more like 'Great, it's you again, screw you evil presence'.

The island wasn't purgatory, the flash-sideways was.

  • Jack died in the bamboo field, as he sees the plane leaving the island.
  • Hugo became the new guardian and Ben his second, when they eventually died (who knows how long after Jack died), they meet up the others in purgatory (flash-sideways), that's why Ben said "You were a great #1" and Hugo says "You were a great #2", it seems they spend a long time together guarding the island after Jack died.
  • We don't know what happened to those in the plane (reached land lived a long time, crashed in ocean, ...), but they eventually died and meet up in purgatory.

Interest? No credit card charges interest if you pay the balance promptly every month. If you're responsible, using a credit card for *everything* is in every way better than using cash or debit.

This.

I was one of the over-charged ones, but I paid with a credit card so not worried at all, I pay all internet related stuff with credit cards, the less people touching my bank account the better.

BTW it seems this happened before (2008) so at least they are experienced dealing with this problems.... :)
