It's essentially the same thing.

Yeah I have it too on my old Roku. I had forgot how it got on there, but apparently it was a private channel I added years ago and although the private channel is no longer available for some reason it still works, I use it all the time.
I'm more likely to upgrade now that they finally support YouTube again. Hope the interface is fast and simple.
Yeah that is another option I forgot about. I had that before the DSL, but it wasn't very satisfactory. Tried it from Sprint and Verizon. Ping was 125 or so and it was $60 a month.
No Fios in the entire county as far as I know. But my DSL price went up about $6 over the last 3 months. I have read that many phone companies are trying to phase out DSL. I will be in trouble then, no other options where I live.
It's not so bad. I can stream Netflix OR download stuff OR play games. Not at the same time. Latency is good, about 50ms at best.
Once enough people start buying and storing electricity from off-peak times, the power companies will complain about not making enough money, and a price increase will result. Mark my words.
Same as water authorities, they yell at everyone to conserve water and then they raise prices because they no longer have enough income..
If he is referring to the unlikely Amazon delivery drones, I really don't understand that sentence at all. How would he know what security the drones will have in place? It's a safe bet Amazon wouldn't communicate unencrypted with them.
Aren't many pesticides designed to disrupt the nervous systems of insects? We are all animals, it stands to reason that it would harm humans too.
I kept one going for 35 minutes one day. I told the guy my version of Windows was Word 2007. I was somehow unable to figure out what a web browser was or how to open it. References I made to Safari and Finder should have cast doubt on whether I had Windows at all. Then after the frustrated (but very patient) guy got his supervisor on the phone I revealed that I didn't have Internet. They lost interest very fast after that.
The port seems to have an issue where it's hard to plug in the cable and a pin gets bent:

Same sort of thing happens in Planetside 2. Granted the servers have hundreds or thousands of simultaneous players but it's annoying going behind cover and then getting shot. It's not the norm though.
I generally oppose unions. To me my employment is between me and the business, not me and the union and the business. If I'm not happy or the business isn't happy, then the relationship ends.
Yeah they are banded together to make money, and if they're making money from the government then taxpayers pay the bill.
Businesses aren't people, they can't vote. Why are they allowed to donate vast sums of money to politicians? And we wonder why we are in the lobbyist->politician->corporation mess we're in now.
I'll probably play Planetside 2 and watch a scary movie.
