Opiates are ineffective for neuropathic pain. current treatment is usually with antidepressants like tricyclics.
RTFA, it says it selectively blocks neuropathic pain, not pain from all causes.
It means what it says it means, that it selectively alleviates neuropathic pain, not all causes of pain. Neuropathic pain originates form damaged nerves, is usually experienced as persistent burning, tingling, pins and needles sensation and doesn't respond well to opiates or nsaids.

Droplet/aeresol transmission is not the same as airborne transmission. Airborne transmission occurs with suspended dried droplet nuclei. Colds spread more efficiently by fomite transmission.
The common cold isn't really airborne either, it's spread mainly by fomite transmission, direct contact and droplet transmission. I think the problem is that people confuse droplet transmission and airborne transmission.Ebola can be spread by droplet transmission but does not survive long enough outside the body to be spread by fomites or true airborne transmission. And the average ebola patient feels rather too sick to walk around spreading germs like a person with a cold might.

Of course, that demand was only made so they could then criticize the President's choice of ebola czar. Next I expect to see them on the TV demanding to know why the President won't say we're at war with ebola.

The sustained rate of fire of an automatic rifle like an M-4 or Kalashnikov is no higher than with a bolt action. You get a higher initial rate of fire, but the barrel heats up fast if you try to keep that up. That's the reason modern infantry platoons field several light machine guns.
local governments are far more corrupt than the central government.
bullshit. it's the needs, particularly food, shelter, and healthcare that are skyrocketing in price.
people still spend good money for 1960s cars. And the seatbelt was the single biggest safety improvement for automobiles, those that followed offer only incremental benefits. And all those fancy medical machines that go ding have had a far bigger effect on the health of their manufacturers' bottom lines than on the health of the population in general.
