I took a look at this game, and well it looks kind of fun. Sometimes you just want to fly around and shoot stuff. It brought back memories of the late 90's. I worked for as a contractor at a large hospital. In our downtime a few of us would gather and play a space based lan game. It reminded me quite a lot of this game, a top down space shooter. For the life of me I cannot think of the title. Does anyone remember the name of that game?

How is this throwing a tantrum exactly? I will display my displeasure at their poorly thought out decision by simply not giving them my money. If the executive decisions take away from the game play, why should I play it? As for growing up, maybe you should read your own post again, because "making it your mission" smacks of being immature. Not only that it pretty much just makes you come off as a douche, probably why you don't have the balls to post as anything but an AC. I will in fact go on to have a nice day, as I'm sure you will enjoy the rest of your day trolling from the comfort of your mother's basement while eating cheetos and waiting for that next round of Hot Pockets...

I have been waiting for this release for quite some time now. I have faithfully worshiped the screen shots, the anticipation was just killing me. Fond memories of Starcraft 1 LAN games still fresh in my mind. With this new twist, well it is like a virtual kick in the balls. Blizzard has pissed on these fond memories without a care in the world. The massive success of WoW has blinded them to what the game players really desire. The justifications are a thinly veiled attempt at retaining control over the user experience. I, like many others will probably never purchase this game unless they reverse the decision. It has now become something I have no reason to spend $59.99 of my money on. Thanks but no thanks gentlemen...

I live in Minnesota and worked in Government IT for a decade. I have to say that the state of broadband is sad. The consumers lack the freedom of choice in most areas of the state. Comcast and Quest in the Twin Cities and Charter almost everywhere else. There are a few smaller providers here and there with a minimal market share. The large companies have a monopoly in their respective territories. Although they deny this fact at every turn. A perfect example of this is Charter, in towns where they are the only player you will be charged at a rate that is much higher than in a city where they have direct competition. When this is pointed out they deny the fact and claim the difference in cost is due to the "cost of doing business in that town". Please. A few years ago in Rochester, MN the Public Utility (RPU) decided they wanted to test ethernet over power lines. As soon as word got out Charter had a melt down and had reps at all of the city council meetings crying unfair competition. The phones at city hall rang off the hook and the behind the scenes threats were made. The project was killed. You figure it out...

I'm thinking that you in fact have a very low understanding of Iranian politics. Otherwise you would know that the Iranian President only wields so much of the power. The real seat of power rests with the Supreme Leader, for now this is Ayatollah Khamenei. Mousavi isn't a moderate as far as such terms may apply but he is way closer to the center than Ahmadinejad. The likely successor of Ayatollah Khamenei, if the revolution succeeds, would be Ayatollah Montazeri. Who is pro-Democracy, pro-Human Rights and one of the biggest proponents of women and civil rights for ALL Iranians, including much-maligned minorities like the Baha'is. In fact he goes further than the protections afforded to them under Sharia. He would be the one calling the shots.

As a parent in a city with 36 different schools and countless buses I know what you mean. But there is no reason to tag your little girl. All buses look alike, big yellow with numbers on the side. To make things easy and to avoid duplicate numbers from different bus providers they put a picture in the bus window on colored paper. So your kid might ride bus "Blue Hammer", So obviously the sign is on blue paper with a big picture of a hammer. If your kid manages to get on the wrong bus with that system, either they are not paying attention or they might need that "special" bus.

Excuse me, but it isn't a secret when EVERYONE already knows guys. If you didn't know, you must have missed the news regarding all of the construction at the house when Dick was in residence. All of the neighbors complaining about the round the clock heavy equipment use making the ground shake. That is when everyone was saying that they were probably expanding/renovating the bunker under the house.

But hey, keep the non-news coming.

I disagree. In my office our Customer Service Reps use both IE and Firefox. Every single one of them uses a minimum of 6 tabs in Firefox all day long. Not a single one of them is a technical person.

My non-technical 60 year old parents don't seem to have a problem with figuring out tabbed browsing either. Come to think about it mt 85 year old grandmother who is slightly crazy even uses tabs in IE.

Well the problem with calculating the averages should honestly be enough to get this tossed. The defense can put up an exhibit with a set of numbers using the flawed methodology which shows a person to be over the limit. Then call an expert witness with a math degree, or an accountant for that matter. Show that the average when calculated normally is below the the legal limit. Even better is if you can show that the machine has calculated an average that falls below the legal limit but should have been above. That would show the device to be a public safety hazard for clearing persons who are actually impaired.

Is it possible to enjoy those games at a lower resolution or frame rate? Quite possible. Can either of those titles be enjoyed at their maximum potential? No

There are plenty of idiots who say bigger this, bigger that == bigger e-peen. That is really just stupid. There is a large segment of the gaming population who actually enjoy playing their games in the way the designers intended. Using physix, anti-alliasing, etc to achieve a full cinematic effect.

This goes for any enthusiast niche market. You have your audiophiles, your car guys, musicians, and artists, the list goes on. Why does a musician want a certain amp or guitar? Is it because he wants his peen to go to 11?
