Submission + - A Past President Confirms it: NetBSD is Dead

RevDobbs writes: In a recent post to the NetBSD-users list, past president of The NetBSD Project and The NetBSD Foundation Charles Hannum writes that NetBSD is on the ropes:
The NetBSD Project has stagnated to the point of irrelevance. It has gotten to the point that being associated with the project is often more of a liability than an asset. I will attempt to explain how this happened, what the current state of affairs is, and what needs to be done to attempt to fix the situation.
His letter goes on to detail the trials and tribulations faced by the OS OS project, and what he feels is needed to remedy them. Suprisingly, it sounds like the group needs a whole lot of Theo, whom they once shunned.
