WoW down again due to Blizzard patch screw-up

Anonymous Coward writes: "In an announcement you get before not being allowed to log in, you're told that something went wrong with the 2.0.5 patch. They direct you to a support site, but as usual, you can't get to that site (Blizzard's web servers are notoriously slow and under-performing). No other information is available. Imagine if eBay or Vonage or Amazon or any other Internet company had the level of outages and service interruptions WoW has — and provided the level of support that Blizzard does. would anyone stay?"
