It cracks me up to keep seeing states jumping through hoops and giving away all sorts of tax revenues for these big companies to set up shop. Then, later on, the company reveals that only about 30 jobs are going to be created in actuality, and the state has lost more than if they had just let the deal pass them by.
I have yet to hear of a happy ending for one of these deals for the state, and I'd be happy to be corrected if some one has a link....
I almost feel sorry for them....
With all the 'your using our IP' cry baby-ness going on, I'm sure lawyers will be sending them take down requests in droves.
There is at least one story every day on
Maybe that is why they didn't fully finish the page....

The parent post says: "... hilarious but inappropriate, to the well-made but creepy, to the 'I'm sure it sounded good in your head.'"
If I was in MS's marketing department I'd be all over the bad videos. I'd show them to everyone I could and explain, 'See? This is the type of person who identifies w/ Linux. This is how they brand them selves. These type of people will be working on your servers, looking through the source code, etc.'
My job would be done, people thinking about switching over would be creeped out, and a fuzzy warm marketing glow would ensue....
