Comment Ah, Halloween! (Score 1) 658

A company at which I worked used to go all-out on Halloween. My first inkling that a co-worker was at the very least a transvestite was when he wore a leather mini-skirt on Halloween. No woman I know would have let him borrow it.

Anyway, things got toned down after a male employee lodged a sexual harassment complaint. Seems he was forced to sit in a meeting with a manager dressed as a dominatrix. Said it impaired his ability to work and constituted a hostile work environment. I'll admit, she looked WAY hot, but that didn't keep a lot of us from wanting to kick the ass of the guy who lodged the complaint.

The source has usually been the lithium battery powering the device.

I am not sure if the Dell and Apple laptops had lithium batteries but it does appear that the industry is going to have to look at the flammability of batteries in laptops and MP3 players. Either better batteries or asbestos skivvies. Wait, trying to remember--there is something wrong with asbestos, too??
