No he made a statement based a very small sample. That is unfair. I never said that the OP worked for a cut rate contractor I said that I would expect that you would see less talented people working for cut rate contractors. He could have just been unlucky, worked with a low quality contractor, or hired a cut rate contractor.
I make no claim to which of those is true.

That is very unfair. It could be that just the ones that are willing to work for cut rate contractors have limited skill sets... Who would have guessed.
India has a lot of very educated people in the tech fields. After all they have do have nuclear weapons, launch vehicles, and aerospace industry. All of which go very wrong very quickly without educated engineers working on them.

I have to wonder about this concept. Take the TV series Sex in the City. The viewership was in large women but just about the only thing they talked about was men.
Relationships are important to both men and women but women seem to discuss it more.
My workplace is really diverse and no one really cares what your gender or race is as long as you can get it done.

Actually the current systems are moving to molten salts...
Not really good enough yet and I doubt it ever will be. The good thing is molten salt could in theory work with other systems like nuclear and even coal. The cost is just way too high to be practical...
And yes I have looked into it.

This has been true since the beginning of recorded history.

The fact that people find this shocking is what is so bizarre to me. The original heroes of computer science where spying. Bletchley park's function was to spy. You spy in wartime to win you spy in peacetime to prevent war.

On thing I do not like is this idea of schools as police. If a child bullies another child outside of school why is it any of the schools business?
The problem all comes down to manners, ethics, and morality which should be taught by the parents. The problem is how do you force parents to be parents? If a child is being a bully it should be the parents of the bully that puts a stop to it. A far too large of percentage does so we are left trying to fix the problem using other less effective methods.
