Submission + - Google in Trouble; Lead AOSP Maintainer Quitting

sky770 writes: Wondering where the factory images are for your shiny new Nexus 7? Google usually posts them, but it hasn’t yet. And now, a key Google employee is “quitting” his responsibility for maintaining such images. The problem appears to be a dispute between Google and Qualcomm. The lead Googler responsible for maintaining Android factory image software is stepping away from that responsibility.

From the Google+ post:
“Well, I see that people have figured out why I’m
quitting AOSP.
There’s no point being the maintainer of an Operating
System that can’t boot to the home screen on its
flagship device for lack of GPU support, especially
when I’m getting the blame for something that I don’t
have authority to fix myself and that I had anticipated
and escalated more than 6 months ahead.”

Pls mod up Bus(/car/any_transportation_media) = Bit Torrent Protocol Type of bus(public transport/commute) = file sharing Road(where it runs) = web - A person uses a bus to go(and carry his bag) from a place to another.. - that same person deliver some bombs to a government office.. All this doesn't means that the transportation is bad..or the road is Bad..or even the type of bus... it totally depends on the person what he/she is using that bus for. Also, it would totally illogical if the government / any corp. tries to block the Road, the type.of bus or even tries to filter out busses Lol they tried that'all and everytime they got a big mid. Finger shown to Them and their alliances.

ARM is the future. Period. Atleast for the mobile segment and for those who want to cut down development costs, save on energy efficiency and on top of all that "increase in processing power" ( LOL din't I just covered every "major" aspect of the needs of our immediate future?) More and more ARM SoC's are having better and better GPU's in them which are coming up quite well. Also, you should have a look at the Adapteva's Kickstarter Project Parallella. Its based on a dual-core ARM A9 SoC. Now this might spark enough ideas to convert this baby into a ARM based server..idk for what not but it'll be cool enough for scientific applications.

Why was this post tagged as "crime"?
In what universe was this a crime? Its not even close to that.
I am new to /. please excuse me I might get caught up in how tagging works here..but IMO that wasn't an appropriate tag *sigh*
between world's governments going crazy and two Bohemia Interactive's ArmA 3 game developers being held as criminals This is just sad.
