The current facial unlock has me gurning and pulling all sorts of stupid faces at my phone. I turn it of when I'm in polite company in case people think I'm have a seizure.

Bashing programs from magazines into Zx81 and Spectrums.
My first Android phones was a HTC Hero, cracking bit of kit. The wife had a Desire that she loved and converted her to Android too.
Its a shame to see that HTC have lost their way recently, but that doesn't mean that they can't be great again.
Possibly a British-ism. Tit is a common slang word for a breast LIke boob, jubblie, nork, funbag, chesticle or Bulgarian Airbag.
Does the green '1' in the countdown have any significance?
Green makes me think Android.
A service pack is a roll up of all the important and critical updates into one big package. You can apply a service pack to any install to bring it up to that patch level without going through the intermediate stages.
The service packs are often slipstreamed into install media to produce a (fairly) up to date install right off the disk.
The Vauxhall Nova was renamed the Corsa in Brazil (the name was later used in other markets) due to poor sales. No-va roughly translates to No-Go in the local dialect.
I hope is has a better dictionary selection and retention than Word. Being constantly reprimanded by squiggly red lines that I the software thinks that I should use -ize on words that should be -ise is enough to make me gouge out my eyes with a vibrating pen.
Same with Opera on my Droids. The stock browser manages to display content, but it's slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
The balance concept is a pretty good idea. Whether it will work in the real world remains to be seen, but it addresses BYOD problems quite nicely.
I have run regular HP DL360 servers quite happily in various locations around Afghanistan. Heat is a problem, but it isn't the ambient heat that's the issue. The environment is very dusty and moving parts (especially fans) have a very short life. Once the fan is dead, the heat then becomes a problem very quickly.
I notice the TFA doesn't mention any filtration, so these boxes are no better than OTS kit in that respect.
Also, getting blown up and shot at tends to reduce the useful life of boxes too.
A paranoid colleague of mine composed passwords with a sprinkling of extended chars. He entered the whole thing on the numeric keypad with ALT held down.
I've no idea what his password(s) were, but they caused quite a few badly written apps to explode in a spectacular shower of exceptions and unhandled input errors.
