After some investigation, it turned out to be a NAT collison on the Verizon end. The devices in question were a Sony Xperia and a Droid X. As can be expected, the phones fought for a bit, including freezing. Even after multiple restarts, the phones continued to obtain the same IP address from Verizon. At the moment, both phones are offline, and are unable to obtain a signal, thusly forcing the users to move back to their computers in order to continue fueling their IRC addiction.
To all this, I only have one thing to say: well done, Verizon.
Seriously, what the fuck is it with people who refer to their kids as "my 15-year-old" or "my 2-year-old", etc.?
It has to do with counting the years until they are out the door and not your problem anymore...
I don't need a tablet that can run x86 apps. Users don't give a flying shit about "x86" they just give a shit about having good apps to run. iOS and Android already offer that in spades
Why would anyone want to be able to run programs that tie into doing things other that wasting time? This one sounds unemployed, or in a low end job where he doesn't get to use a computer.
