You are completely out of your head...in fact Linux supports even better older and newer machines alike. Recently I had to reinstall one old desktop and two older laptops. Windows has not cooperating, it was a walk in the park installing linux, no drivers hassle, nothing at all. Plus, in one of the notebooks I had a specific request for Linux for a non-IT user because they are already tired of dealing with malware.

You lost me at Windows is the most headache fee OS. I left Windows in 95, and never ever will come back. I also have the dubious honour of throwing out of the window of my car a Windows based GPS and buying a Linux based on the same day. The cherry on the top is our Windows admin installing a Linux system for his desktop a couple of weeks ago because he had already had had enough with viruses. Linux may have had all the problems you talk maybe 15 years ago, you have to try it again.

There are also many projects in Linux. No Machine (NX) was/is being used here in Portugal by large organisations to provide remote services to non-IT users. Many users did/do not enjoy it much due to being used to Windows, however the problems are much less and the costs are so much higher that higher management endorsed and mandated it.

Microsoft was born due to Bills family being influential in washington, and has been in bed with the establishment ever since. In the past we also had strong hints they had a NSA backdoor. Cisco is also known to have backdoors. The industry has been undermining itself quite alone. Foreign people who use American software for industrial or political purposes are morons.

oh not, Linux is not enterprise ready, my god. What a lie. Lets conveniently ignore IBM provides Linux support, google and gmail are running on that, amazon too, and a lot of the word servers are run in the linux-based Amazon cloud. And to your information, vmware is just a souped up Linux kernel.

As a customer I can suspect, but not prove much. Amazon can very easily correlate reviews, users and the IP addresses behind them and act accordingly. They are just probably going first to the attorney for those actions do not backfire on them.
