You are posting this idea on pretty much every thread but it makes no sense. It requires that someone be paranoid enough that they know about this nail polish and would want someone to test their drink, but lazy enough to not actually get it themselves and paradoxically trusting enough that they would accept that person's word about the veracity of their test. And, of course there will be drugs that it cannot detect. This is just a proof of concept. That does not make the whole idea worthless.

It could be that women have interesting ideas for products that are useful to other women, but that wouldn't get funding through traditional means. So it might not be that women are funding projects because they are started by women, but that because they are started by women they are projects that are interesting to other women.

Submission + - Ferguson police fire on peacefull protestors (rt.com)

An anonymous reader writes: Go home or be subject to arrest,” police warned through the loudspeaker, shortly before shooting tear gas at the protesters. Prior to that officers were telling people to stay away from the vans.

Police were also shooting rubber bullets while smoke grenades and tear gas canisters were falling into the crowd and surrounding neighborhood. Meanwhile, some of the protesters reportedly threw rocks and bottles at the police.

Submission + - This Phony 'Anonymous' Site Was Set Up to Trap Ferguson Hacktivists (vice.com)

Daniel_Stuckey writes: As military police forces gather around Ferguson, trying to quell an angry, frustrated, and betrayed population, some people are taking their fight online. 'OpFerguson', being spear-headed by members of the hacktivism collective Anonymous, launched a couple of days ago. One site popped up that gave those wishing to voice their discontent a helping hand. Opferguson.com allows a user to select a target, including the Ferguson police force and the FBI, and participate in a DDoS attack: a technique that attempts to overwhelm a server by flooding it with traffic. Opferguson.com, however, is not what it seems. Instead of directing a user's traffic to the intended target, it instead collects the IP addresses of whoever logs on. This information, according to the creator, a self-avowed Anonymous opponent, is then open for law enforcement to act upon.

The bullshit is strong with this one. Maybe link to some actual research instead of talking out of your ass about things you don't understand. Like, for instance, this article which debunks the idea that men naturally have a higher variance in intelligence: http://www.pnas.org/content/10.... It turns out that whole idea was based on one flawed study from the 80s, but since it matched so well with the world view of a bunch of privileged white guys on the internet it spread like wildfire. Do some of your own thinking for once maybe.

Lets suppose some of those things are true. They might be, who knows because, as you say, not a lot of people are talking about them. Fucking do something about it then instead of just complaining. "We have problems too, so therefore your problems are invalid and we should all live in shit together" is not an argument. Feminists are trying to fix problems that matter to them. You try and fix problems that matter to you.
