Unless your stance is the abolishment of law enforcement, you have to accept that they need these +1 powers to do their job effectively

This is complete bullshit. There are perfectly acceptable non-lethal responses to force that the police could use, i.e. tasers, mace, bean bag guns. And are you seriously stipulating that they could not do their jobs without being able to arbitrarily assault people who are not using force of any kind?

There are a lot more than that though. For instance, there are two from just this week:

Point me to that please. There was that guy Dillon Taylor (who wasn't even white, he was hispanic) that every republican was yelling about like it nullifies Michael Brown, but beyond that I haven't seen any. At the same time, there were tons of unarmed black people killed by the police in my city alone. If white kids are getting killed, then sure that is a problem and we should also be concerned about it. Just like I was equally upset when Dillon Taylor was shot. But I don't see any evidence that it is prevalent to the degree that black people being shot is.

I really don't understand how you can come to this conclusion without harboring some seriously racist ideas yourself. Unarmed black kids are getting killed by the police all over the country. That is not an acceptable outcome. The school can't fix the interaction from the side of the police officers, but they can teach kids how to respond in those situations so that the risk is minimized. How can that be anything but good?

It's almost like you have never used public transit before. They don't run empty trains, they run fewer of them. On peak hours, the trains come back to back. Other times you might wait 5-10 minutes. As far as the number of stops, again they are way ahead of you. Many cities have express trains that only stop every 5+ stops, which you take to the nearest junction and then switch to the local train to get to your final destination. Your arguments are all completely wrong.

That's why in pretty much all of my classes the I replace the final exam with a few class sessions at the end where each student has to give a short lecture on a topic that we have not covered in class. If you have learned what you are supposed to learn about the basics of the subject, then you can research and present advanced topics to your peers. If you haven't, then you will have a lot of trouble. And there is no way to cheat.

Woman are more rational than men, and don't want to go into CS because it might be a bad job market. So fields like psychology and art history, which have more than enough women, must have amazing job prospects, right? Anyone who thinks about it for two seconds can see that the problem is not that simple.

That's so entitled it is ridiculous. Oh no, I can't live in a $650k house, I am so poor. You realize that a $100k household salary puts you in the top 20% of households in the US, ignoring any money your spouse might make. What are the other 80% of people doing to live? Yeah, yeah, some places are more expensive than others. But your Starbucks barista in your super-expensive city still lives somewhere. Your barber lives somewhere. And they have kids too.
