Seriously, though, Slashdot hasn't had the user base to Slashdot anything for several years.
It's not even in the same ballpark. Likening a the idea of a company checking out apps before you install them is nothing like having a government entity, with no accountability, recoding you every time you take a shit.

That's nice. I don't pay interest charges on credit cards, ever, and the store charges the same price card or cash.
I had a fraudulent charge appear on my card this month for $600. Guess how much i'm out, zero. Got my replacement card in two days.

I've had an unlimited data plan since the iPhone 3G and I've yet to break 1gb/month. I travel a lot and use google maps often, so I don't know.

I watch Netflix on a 3Mbit connection with no problem. That said, I have a standard-def TV.
