That shopping cart app I made the other day could also be used to track how many human body parts one has stashed in his basement.
I admit, I'm part of the problem.

That's nasty
The desktop was never even alive. It's called a computer. It runs windows. That's all people know. whether it's a laptop, a tower an all in one or in the future you phone that you plug a screen/keyboard/mouse combo in.
People don't care. shut up about the death of the desktop already.
As a developer, the only thing you should care about is on what OS it runs and what the input devices are, not if it's powered by a tablet or a phone or a tower or a laptop or a server or a "cloud".
Why are old people so desperate to have a big box next to their desk while hardware is shrinking to pocket sizes? Or do you really believe a mouse and keyboard are going to disappear along with that hideous box of yours?
i mean, have you ever tried playing a decent game on a touchscreen? oh no wait, you are an old fart too busy complaining about desktop sales decline.
Is the car _too_ dangerous? No.
Was the driver's IQ too low too drive such a car? obivously yes.
Van Rompuy, is that you?
for dumb people.

The files were fine when I watched them on the PC, I just streamed them from my PC with sharing media...
As if the movies streamed over DLNA were ever watchable on the PS3, they looked abominal...
Why doesn't this just stream my movies with samba like my current media player? it would sell like hot bread...
Since it's face worn, it's a binocular: the screens are so close it will look like a seemless scene, stitched together by the brain.
also, since it's so close to your eyes, you will probably be blinded by the light in about 10 minutes...
Luckily, they didn't go all Amercian on his ass and shot him on sight http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-24648974
As a EU citizen, I can only agree. We're increasingly seeing the US (government) as the actual terrorists, which is the only truth as far as i'm concered. I'm happy these economic and data sharing relations are crumbling down. Maybe it will knock some sense into the US government.
It's a pity for the social and human aspect though, I've been twice and love the country and people.
It is forbidden for 5 year olds to have a facebook account. So you are already teaching your kids to disobey the rules?
THey have recently lowered the age to 12+, but if they want to include such content, it should be pulled up to 18+ again.
This is exactly why I just tried to connect once, and then went back to offline... I knew it wouldn't work the first week.
But I don't understand why they don't rent scalable cloud services, from amazon or whatever? Are they actually buying all the servers themselves?
Or would even amazon or MS azure datacenters not be sufficient?
It's cuz I'm whitespace isn't it?
no seriously, this even has too many whitespace on the sides on my ultra low resolution work laptop... not to mention vertical whitespace...
I like to scroll it, scroll it, I like to scroll it scroll it, we like to... scroll it!
