I'm not sure how it goes in other countries but it should be the same especially from the youtube movie called earth but the way industrialized countries raise they're livestock is really alarming. For example, here in Québec (east of canada for those who don't know where exactly) pigs are in big warehouses where they're usually born and raised but because there's so much of them in 1 space because of today's needs, they give them antibiotic. Of course, they're system removes most of the antibiotic after time but theres a small percentage that they keep and when they get killed so they sell there meat for us to eat, we get those antibiotics because they can't be removed 100%
So who's to blame here... if there is one to blame. I honestly believe society as a whole is to blame since they want meat. Companies gives them what they want because they want to make profit. On the other hand, people want meat as well so its an endless loop. If this continues at this rate.. Time for me to change my diet lmao
Backblaze has done their study in their datacenter. This means they did it in a controlled environment. I'm sorry but I don't have an AC where my computer is... the air is not filtered. my PC is in my basement (as some people put it in a room) where theres 30-40% humidity using normal crappy air i breath like we all do. Some of us (not me) smoke and live in places with lots of humidity or dry air as well. Is this taken into account...nope.
Well this study is to be taken with a grain of salt as lots of variables are missing in their study but it is a good start to know what hard drives last longer under perfect condition
for example, this is one if the text: "We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve Apple’s products, services, and customer communications". Thats how they make their money too. please don't blame only 1 company only with others do the same. it's insulting and pathetic if you ask me.
On my part, i only use personal info if I really have too
With this info, it seems like they're still people that are using IE. I for one, just simply hate Microsofts way of doing with IE as they seem to think its their laws that shall govern how we use the internet because they seem to use a different mechanic behind their browser but with that many people, i don't think Google should end support for IE9.
But I understand why they do it. I've talked and I know some web devs that just simply hate IE9 because its a pain to work with when they create a webpage. They always have to work with some special code and its always extra work. At the end, their clients pay more if they want IE support on their webpage and their clients know that and are aware
No amount of careful planning will ever replace dumb luck.
