As a physical security integrator, I can state with confidence that most physical security people are just like most HVAC installers in that they have no freaking idea what they're doing on a network. IP cameras came along and offered substantially higher resolution, easier transmission, PoE, and other benefits, and now you have a bunch of old-school alarm companies with little idea of what even an IP address is installing critical physical security devices with no consideration given to network security. Mark my words, this is going to be a huge problem.

This would be a very valid rant if the reporting here were correct. The car wasn't trying to park--it wasn't controlling itself. From T 2nd FA: "It seems they are trying to demonstrate pedestrian detection and auto-braking", which is what he didn't pay for. Even that feature is overridden if you keep pressing down on the gas. This is entirely driver error.

It might have to do with the fact that most people are confident enough in their ability to not hit pedestrians that they don't want to pay extra for the camera and radar.

One of the nice things about Python is the very concrete idea of what is and isn't "Pythonic". I've never had too much difficulty jumping right in to something written in Python and having a good idea of what's going on.

If you're suggesting that people get their n3 from seeds, it is important to note that the conversion rate from ALA (in seeds) to EPA (then to DHA) in humans is absolutely awful.

Your bias towards women is showing, even if you don't consciously realize that you have it. Men acting like women or being accused of acting like women is a form of derision. Women acting like men or being accused of acting like men is a form of derision. Compassion is positive in women, and negative in men. Assertiveness is positive in men, and negative in women. There is no attitude that women are worse than men. There is no attitude that men are worse than women. There is an attitude of sticking to your gender role and striving to be the embodiment of it while shaming those more towards the middle than you are, or with more crossover than you.
