Comment Re:Professionnal music making and mixing (Score 1) 1880

When I compose I use Native Instruments Maschine, it's the best workflow ever for me (dedicated controler + software), nothing can beat it for me, it hosts the VSTi and VST FX, it masters the sync with my MPC, sends MIDI to analog synths, etc. So no Maschine on Linux => no Linux for me for composing. And it's the same when I mix, I use some really expensive plug-ins like the Flux Spring bundle and nothing in the Linux world can even start competing with this kind of high grade tools. Plus, why would I change to Linux? I mean, it cannot in any way ease my life, it can only bring problems because when I have an issue that I can't solve on my machine, I call the editor and they help me fix it, sometimes they even make an update to fix the issue. So the thing is not about Linux being able to provide good tools, it's about Linux being able to provide professional tools, which is a different thing.
