Or just, Really Poorly. If it had been done right, for better or worse, we wouldn't be having this discussion. If it worked right there wouldd be no debate, and if it were rigged right there would be no debate. The fact we have stories like this means it was done wrong for whatever end it is supposed to be.

I know that it may be completely incomprehensible to you but try this thought. Maybe Obama isn't the wrong thing. I can't say he's the right thing, but he hasn't even had an opportunity to do anything yet. At least give him until January 21st before you declare him the wrong thing.

TheSpoom writes: During the worldwide Anonymous protests against the Scientology organization yesterday, police in Atlanta, GA arrested a protester who had simply delivered a speech given around the world. They then proceeded to ticket any vehicles passing by that honked their horns in support of the protest. As Anonymous has no leader (as nobody knows the identity of anyone else), this action seems fruitless and one questions the motives of these policemen. Police in Los Angeles were more supportive.

Gr8Apes writes: CNN is reporting that Walmart "fired a systems technician for intercepting text messages of non-Wal-Mart employees and recording telephone conversations with a New York Times reporter without authorization". The story further goes on to state that the recordings were in violation of their policy since they did not have authorization from their legal dept. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't wiretapping illegal without court authorization as shown by the HP scandal?

Wingnut 07 writes: Upset by what they perceive as a liberal bias in Wikipedia, a group of conservatives led by Andy Schlafly, son of Phyllis Schlafly, has created the Conservapedia. Schlafly hopes to forge a 'new path' with Conservapedia, 'one that will make it one of the most "reliable online educational resources of its kind," according to the site (though this goal seems difficult given the wiki's stated main-page mission of "favor[ing] Christianity and America").' That may be tough, given that it suffers from many of the same problems as its nemesis, Wikipedia. 'The entire effort has been roundly mocked, even by conservatives, many of whom aren't pleased to be linked in the public imagination with Conservapedia entries like, "Modern kangaroos originated in the Middle East and are the descendants of the two founding members of the modern kangaroo baramin that were taken aboard Noah's Ark prior to the Great Flood."' Incredibly, the kangaroo entry does not appear to be a hoax.
