So if an eagle catches fish, and the catfish catches birds to eat, who wins?
Are you licensed by the state? Does your profession have a code of conduct? Are there standardized tests for entering the profession? Is there an accepted body of knowledge?
Sadly, the answer is no to all of these. The person who cuts your hair has more certification than the person who writes pacemaker software.
So the gold vault at thee New York Federal Reserve is underground. When I was there piles of gold had little pieces of paper on top saying who owned them. I wonder what would happen if a bunch of water rushed down there... Hopefully the massive door is waterproof.
Everyone knows the time crystals have a 4-sided shape.
Where do I sign up?
Let's not forget that FISA allowed warrants to be granted *retroactively*. So before this law there was *nothing* slowing down or preventing the government from wiretapping suspected terrorists here in the US. Can someone remind me why we need this law?
Will cockpits now have a USB charging port? If so can they help a guy out?
Hold long will the (hu)man hold down the proud black fly?
Oh please. Romney isn't a villain. How about Cheney... He set up his own office in the CIA to cherry-pick intelligence to drive us into war. In his view president == king. I'm sure he encouraged Bush to issue "signing statements" basically overturning law.
Romney doesn't even come close.
Instead of assuming that they don't know how to do a web search, isn't it more reasonable to assume that they did it, found 100 references to metro, and decided that they were distinct enough not to be a problem? Remember when Pilot came out, got sued by the Pilot pen company, and became PalmPilot and then just Palm?
I'm no Microsoft apologist, but let's assume that the company isn't full of complete idiots.
Don't forget it *punishes* the company, even if people don't get a dime. In fact for some things like pollution I'd rather they just take the award money and burn it, thereby increasing the value of everyone's money equally.
I for one am shocked... shocked... that any cattle eat grass these days. I guess ethanol really is putting the screws to cattle farmers.
Javascript would be an obvious choice. It's a sucky language, but would dovetail nicely with what you already know. Then you could switch to PHP on the server side, then Python or Ruby.
