The largest telescope in the world, under perfect conditions, can see an object on the Moon about the size of a small house. It's hard to imagine any amateur telescope seeing an asteroid that is small enough to be moved into Lunar orbit.

Realistically, we should keep in mind how little education students actually get in American K-12 classes. Also that whether or not evolution is taught will make virtually no difference to most high school students unless they have an interest in the biological sciences. I think that the vast majority of those students will be fully capable and motivated to learn evolution on their own.

Anything that starts to fill the gap in software development is good. There is huge demand for these high paying jobs, and there will be for years to come.

The galaxies M81 and M82 are only about 300K ly from each other. A decent telescope can image them both at the same time. Relatively easy to find in Ursa Major too. I look forward to viewing this during the next new Moon.

Pinyin, or any other written romanization scheme will never work for Mandarin. The reason is simple.
There are not enough phonemes in Mandarin. Adding tones mitigates this a bit but not enough.
As a result, a typical Pinyin character representation can have many possible meanings.
