Publishing Company Puts Warning Label on Constitution 676

Wilder Publication is under fire for putting warning labels on copies of historical US documents, including the Constitution. The label warns "This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today." From the article: "The disclaimer goes on to tell parents that they 'might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work.'"

Rossi should run with a big campaign with a few other people wrangling for his position. After Murry totally slaughters Rossi (he should let them) they would have spent so much time and money on him they would have forgotten about the other contenders who will, up to that point, be invisible.

Is it possible to run for office for the primary, change your mind and have someone else run in your stead? You know, bait and switch?

If they are unwilling to play nice, I see no reason anyone else should.

Fixing calculations isn't rain. Thanks for the info. I knew that there were going to be errors which is why I was encouraging feedback. If there are still issues, please let me know.

It should now be modified to reflect actual weight and size. "Cord of wood" references are now eliminated.

What would really get attention, though, is if you tracked down the salaries of the top 100 people or something like that, then figured out how many years it would take to pay it back if the government taxed them at 100%.

100 in the US or 100 in the world?

Comment Debt visualization (Score 1) 30

I've been trying to find a way to provide a method of debt visualization that is accessible to everyone. When I started I had no idea where it would take me, but it did open my eyes a bit.

I have provided links to sources and bundled everything into a Google Doc. If you find an error or a better or additional way of visualizing this I would appreciate any and all feedback.

As to your suing him for defamation? I'd do it. Scar his record so if he does this to others then they can point to him being difficult to deal with.
