Star Wars is a western, Trek is an old WWII Navy saga. The captain goes down with his ship and stops the invasion/attack by the enemy fleet (in this case one massive powerful ship).

While I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I've always though employing time travel in any plot was a bit of a Sci-fi cop-out...unless it's crucial to the story (e.g. Terminator).

So if a customer is looking at a configure-to-order laptop such as with Dell or Lenovo, then in many cases customers have to upgrade their OS from Home Basic or Home Premium in order to get the XP downgrade option.

Is this charging more for XP...in many people's minds, yes. But legally (Full disclosure: IANAL), they are paying for the Vista upgrade, not for the XP downgrade.

Submission + - The future of online commerce - Lenovo eLounge

Ruger writes: Launched during CES this year, Lenovo and Nortel have created a virtual store, manned by avatars (sales people and product specialist) who are happy to talk to you about specs & product features...you can even buy a laptop. The environment uses the Unreal engine. Interaction is talk, not chat. You can interact 1 to 1 or 1 to many. There are even videos and demos that a visitor can participate in. The experience is very rich and growing. When will more eTail sites spring up? When Home Depot launches their store, will you still have trouble finding someone to cut your virtual boards?
