The real problem though with this bracelet tech is that it requires some sort of signal be sent to the gun, and the gun defaults to do not fire. Buying handguns across state lines is already illegal, even in the more free states. Removing the more restrictive gun control states from the statement, it is already a federal crime (I think gun control act of 1968) to purchase handguns across state lines. If you do so you MUST buy from a licensed dealer who will SHIP it to a licencsed dealer in your state who will do the background check and approval paperwork, etc.

I know you wrote this to be a troll, but at the time the 2nd amendment was written in 1787 private ownership of cannon by wealthy land owners was somewhat common

I too am supporter of the 2nd amendment, but have concerns about the private resale market, and wish someone would offer a sensible option for the private seller to do background checks. Note I said OPTION, not MANDATE, as it is there is no way that a private seller can do a background check without going through a federally licensed gun dealer and paying fees, I would prefer it was done in an anonymous check system. Perhaps something where the potential buyer could fill out an eligebility form online which generates a security key good for something like 14 or 30 days, potential sellers could enter this number on a web site or send a text message with it, and get an authorized buyers name as a reply. The checking does not provide feedback that a sale occured, just that someone checked to see if the buyer was eligible to make a purchase, and the person doing they checking does not have to enter any personal information.

This was not torture to death, was not even close, it may not have been the most painless execution, but people die in far more painful ways in every hospital in america every day.

Tell that to my cousin who is a farmer with thousands of acres in a flood plane, his house was built just prior to the 100 year bench mark flood, and did not flood then, however he can't add on to it now because the flood plain map says it is 6 inches below the flood plain. He can't even build a parking shed for his vehicles, because it would be a new structure in the flood plain which extends for many miles in all directions.

I know of one tropical island where beach front houses were selling for $25,000 - $30,000 25 years ago, those exact same small beach houses, now 25 years old have a resell value of $200,000 - $300,000 now that this vacation spot has been "discovered", and new construciton beach front houses start in the $500,000 range. The same is true in many other even non prime areas, the town I live in has seen a rampant increase in property values over the last several years, I know one person that paid $29,000 for an older 1920's house about 15 years ago, which was a good, but not great price in his neighborhood, at the same time the house next to his sold for about $32,000 and the very small ugly brown house across the street was on the market for many months at $19,000. The house next door with a few cosmetic upgrades (vinyl siding, privacy fence in yard, etc.) recently sold for $169,000, and the ugly brown one across the street which was just repainted and had a few other improvements is currently on the market for $139,000.

One of my pet peeves is the increase in named storms being used to "prove" AGW, when the reality is many storms are achieving named storm status that would never have been given that status 30, 40,or 50 years ago. These storms technically meet the requirements, reaching it momentarily while still far off shore then die back down below this magic level, yet retaining this magic "named storm" status, only through modern 24/7 sensors and tracking. In years past these same storms would have been unlikely to reach the magic "named storm" status unless a hurricane hunter air craft were to make a measurement at just the right moment, these hurricane hunter planes might only visit a storm that was a distant threat to land for an hour or two every couple of days if at all, with growing coverage as the storms approached land, but even at the best of times this coverage would be measured in a few hours per day.

First off this is NOT a virtual WALL, it may discourage crossings, but does not prevent them. There are many things in nature that do a far better job of preventing crossings, rivers for example, or even relatively small streams. Crossing these likely exert more stress than some flashes of light.

What is wrong is that you choose to live somewhere with such stupid regulations, if your neighbors feel the same way you should all get together and get things changed / vote people out of office. If they don't they one of you needs to move.
