Comment the real question (Score 2) 59

The #1 question on everyone's mind is, does the data leaked indicate that mangement at Nvidia also admits that the shield is a pointless, overpriced device with no market? I'm reeeeally dying to know. They're like a tablet mixed with a PSP mixed with a steambox but worse than all 3. I can't imagine anyone there is too happy with it.

"radar data from Malaysia that suggested the aircraft was climbing at a speed of 353 knots, about 100 knots too slow, and that it might have stalled. "
I thought climbing too quickly stalls an engine. Why would climbing slowly in denser air that can run the engines better cause it to stall? Any pilots know what they're talking about? (or do they mean it was going too slow while climbing as opposed to climbing at too low of a rate).

Remember when everyone bought netbooks because they thought they could run their entire life off a single core atom equivilant to a late model pentium 3 and 1GB of RAM on a 10" screen with a failure rate double that of budget laptops? Then they realized that wasn't realistic and they all ended up in pawn shops. Tablets are netbooks with no keyboard. I am so glad people are finally realizing it. I guess smart watches will crash in 2 years as well, although I think even right now nobody wants one.

This had nothing to do with security. They DDOSed it. A monkey could do that. That's traffic control, not security. Maybe they should have found everyone using hacks and cheats in console games and make their Xboxes melt. Then that would be something. Other than that, it's like saying you broke into a bank when in fact you sprayed fire hoses at it so nobody could get in and then still didn't get in or access anything inside.

So they had to have an international meeting to discuss how nobody wants Parkour in the olympics because, as they top level famous pros put it, if you think you did good then you did and you win. Then there's thousands of e-sports pros that do want to be in the olympics but the top olympics people are ignoring them.
