Reminds me of a story my grandfather told me about his experience in the South Pacific. Punchline was "You're a dumb kid, that Japanese guy is a dumb kid, and you both stumbled upon each other. You've got nothing against each other, but because of something people thousands of miles away decided, only one of you was going to walk away that day."
Despite running some masterful election campaigns, he has displayed an amazing ineptitude when it comes to messaging during his reign.
Ahh so he has joined the likes of Trotsky and Che? He'll be in good company, helping Van Jones keep the bench warm.
I suspect your journal will be used as an endorsement for deals.monetize.slashdot.org in the near future.
Being the moderator who could 'bring both sides together' would have been quite a feather in his cap. Rioting and looting within hours (minutes?) of the announcement makes that rather more difficult.
If it took your blood on my hands to defend against your attack, so be it. As the saying goes "better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6".
How does that thinking scale? I'm too lazy to enter into that discussion.
The leftist reverence for a proven thug is disgusting. Time to face reality. Your innocent angel strong-arm robbed a store and then attacked a police officer, punching him in the face and tried to grab his gun before finally trying to charge him.

Those guys are exactly the reason why people have ad-blockers installed.
While I think that most of the posts to use FreeBSD or PC-BSD are spot on, I think I should cover what you shouldn't use in the BSD world due to your requirements.
My own os, MidnightBSD, does not have virtualbox. The nvidia binary drivers work from FreeBSD on it, but that won't be the case forever.
MirBSD wouldn't support at lot of the software you mentioned and doesn't have recent java support for minecraft.
OpenBSD might work, but you would have to check on a few packages.
NetBSD is probably your next best bet after FreeBSD due to the wide variety of packages.
DragonFly is weak on packages, although they're working on it.
FreeBSD does offer disk encryption. Note if you use encrypted swap, there is a massive performance hit. I used to have this a default in MidnightBSD up to 0.4 and it was not a pretty picture on server hardware. Sometimes you'd get panics if there was too much swap pressure with it.
Do you know anything about running a business? In a service industry, people costs are often a huge portion of a company's overall costs. Minor changes in that structure can have major impact on the bottom line.
Even in traditional manufacturing jobs, where a large percent of the costs are tied up in capital and materials, a modest change in employee costs filters through. Just ask GM and Chrysler.
I'd like to be able to set that as a toggle in my search results for apps.
I am filled with a deep sense of schadenfreude as I watch the US drive itself into the ground.
You oughta temper your glee; we go down, we're taking the whole ball of mud with us.
If you've worked in IT for a while you should be able to put together a $150k check...
Suggest you just sit there and wait till life gets easier.
