Not that I don't think the US govt. is abusive enough to do this on no evidence, but why not suspect Sony? They're also abusive enough, and have shown willingness to attack innocent parties without even pertended evidence. (Not that N.Korea is innocent of much, but I've heard of no convincing evidence that they are actually behind this.)
OTOH, it could be a third (unmentioned) group playing "Lets you and him fight.".
You're forgetting Georgia (U.S.) which was also a British penal colony.
Why should they bother to make it legal when they can just decline to prosecute the police? Which they already do.
Yes, even Finnegan's Wake had paragraphs. Of course one of them was, I think, three pages long. And a single sentence.
Is this ape going to get a job? Or will it still remain effectively a sub-human in a different type of cage?
It looks like not much really changed here...
It looks like what will change is that the orangutan will live in a wildlife sanctuary rather than in a zoo.
Whether that is significant or not depends on the difference in quality-of-life (for an orangutan) between living in a cage (or small zoo enclosure) vs living in a larger outdoor environment. I'd imagine that the orangutan's quality of life will improve significantly, but that's only a layman's guess since I don't claim any expertise on orangutans. I suppose the test would be to give the orangutan the option of either lifestyle, and see which one she seems to prefer.
Their MSP430 is great tech but their libraries suck horribly. They need to embrace the public community and less of their in house engineers on making libraries that are worth using AND stop using a compile/IDE that is complete crap and crippled.
the GCC toolchain is decent but still clunky as all hell.
Not healing like we used to.... Damn it's annoying for healing to take so frigging long.
Oh and GET OFF MY LAWN!
Most people are too stupid to use them. There is a reason that US market cars are dumbed down compared to Japan Market and Europe Market.
Standard resistive Touchscreen tech is dirt freaking cheap. I can get 7" resistive types for $9.00 each all day long at single quantities. If I was a car maker I could get them at less than $1.00 each in 1000+ quantities.
Honestly this IR system is a rehash of really old tech that is just not needed.
What is needed is the important buttons existing as REAL HARD BUTTONS. the systems that are 100% touch are complete crap. Yes I do want my hard buttons back on android, the on screen home button is really 100% crap.
Australia was the first to try, Argentina was the first to succeed, New Zealand
was the first to perfect it.
. But how did they decide to call it a pallet?
I'm not sure about how that was decided, but I will note that an older definition of the word was "A temporary bed made from [straw] bedding arranged on the floor, especially for a child". Perhaps they envisioned the wooden frames as temporary beds for products to rest on?
Not all corporate IT security is a joke. Some of it you don't hear news stories about.
Well, OK, but some of it actually is pretty good.
1) Yes, Anonymous is this stupid. It's an unorganized group of small groups of varying capabilities and talents. Some are only talented at mouthing off stupidly.
2) If Sony is pretending to be Anonymous, they are doing it anonymously, and therefore not doing it under false pretenses.
