Not if your OS is tied intimately to your filesystem. Linux might not, because a large number of things are abstracted out, but FreeBSD depends on its file system, Solaris took a very long time/effort before it could boot off ZFS. Forget about moving Windows off NTFS. Apple actually did some work on putting it onto ZFS, maybe they will continue.

You are a fucking idiot. It incubates for anywhere up to 7-10 years before symptoms appear. By the time symptoms appear, you're already fucked.

Testing 40,000 cows is a drop in the bucket. UK tests *EVERY SINGLE COW*.

The symptoms manifests in cows after about 7 years, so under Bush, they changed the requirement that meat cows be slaughtered before 3, so no one can even spot a cow that is carrying it.

What kind of nonsense are you spouting? Every processor out there with the exception of that one open sourced one, *IS* proprietary! *YOU* go try and make an x86 and see if Intel sues the pants off you.

You also don't understand what scalability and all the other big words mean. You don't even know that your Intel processor is now effectively a RISC core with a CISC layer of microcode on top.

And who the hell cares if you can run 8bit or 16 mode shit? Those were all design inefficiencies and now you are fucking bragging about it? What an idiot.
