Does Israel even believe they're going to actually attempt this? This point is made a lot, and I think it's obviously just pandering to their own conservatives.

Negotiators are trying to dismantle Iran's nuclear capabilities. There won't be a war until Iran actually attacks Israel, which I find unlikely (similar to NK attacking us). I'd bet 100:1 that if there was a war between Israel and Iran, Israel would be the one to strike first (as they've done in the past).

I can't believe any amount of sanctions was going to get in their way if they really wanted to prioritize building a nuke (assuming they're capable to begin with). Sanctions are only a motivating factor when properly used (such as in this situation).

It's true that facebook didn't really create any service that wasn't already around (neither did twitter for that matter), but people like convenience and controlled ecosystems even if they already know how to accomplish everything independently. This from someone who doesn't have a facebook profile (just throw-away account).

And the guy at the door is there to make sure you did exchange the cash. Ever check your bag as you walk out to make sure you have all your goods? It's a private business, so what if they want to make sure people aren't taking their merch out the door without paying? You may not have a signed a contract, but it's implied when you walk into a store that they have the right to protect their stuff (security cameras or whatever else). You're just being a dick and making the security guard's job more difficult.

These days they don't pump out much of anything other than half-baked promises. Look at all the physical vaporwear they've been pedaling. That's become the problem with Valve. They don't want to make HL3, which is fine I guess, but they don't seem to do shit else either. Maybe instead of just letting his employees work on whatever they want, Gabe should start mandating that they also produce *something* marketable.

I think the complain isn't that they didn't allow access to more sites, it's that they're marketing it as the "internet" when it's anything but. Free Wikipedia for Africa is great even if it is just a ploy to get more people on Facebook. Just label it as such.
