Upload the file(s) as a single encrypted image file. Break that image into stripes. Store each stripe and the decryption key in a different legal jurisdiction? Not foolproof but it does make it more difficult for a single entity.

If you do that, how is the site supposed to publish your documents in the event of your death? They're going to have to get access to the data so they can do the job.

Not sure about other products, but here is the recent article about Samsung Galaxy S5. Samsung sold 5 million Galaxy 5S phones in the entire month of May (which was evidently the first full month of sales) The article says that it sold less in its first month than Apple sold iPhones 5S in the same month. http://bgr.com/2014/07/16/gala...

I know there is always a "many Android phones vs one Apple" argument. But numbers are what they are.

There's also two Iphone 6's. If you're going to break it down, you should break it down.

However, the argument is usually Apple vs Google. In which case you can count both Iphone 6's vs a given generation of Android phones.

This has to be one of the best use cases I've seen for wireless charging stations. Put one at every bus stop where it's practical. Just by sitting there, while letting people on and off or just waiting to get back on schedule, the bus can be recharging. Also, buses are long, so the density of power sent through the charging coils doesn't have to be as high as with a car.

If you asked them not to change the definition because "broadband" technically refers to how data is transferred (10gbit ethernet is not broadband, despite the speed, it is baseband) then ok, you can be cpt pedantic.

However this is just you lying. 4mbps is not "enough" for the modern Internet. Currently I find the breakpoint to be about 20mbps. That is the point after which normal users won't notice much, if any, improvement. As such, that is my baseline for recommendation to people. 10mbps is serviceable I guess, but is a pain for video streaming. 4mbps would be a real issue, even low bandwidth streams wouldn't work well.

The minimum needs to keep rising. We keep finding more to do with our net connections. These companies are just whiny because they don't want to have to roll out FTTH, they want to keep doing DSL and pretending like that works.

TFS mentions high quality video. You're not streaming high quality video with 10 or even 20Mbps.

Stop throwing the constitution in our faces, it's just a goddamned piece of paper.

They're already putting 2k displays on phones.. it's just a matter of time until they put 4k displays on phones and then there's no way a browser is going to download a lower resolution image for the device. The screen is 4k so just download the big picture....

Never mind that you can't see the difference unless you're extremely nearsighted and don't have your glasses on.

Low res is the new "thin".
